"If all else perished and he remained, I should
still continue to be; and if all else remained and he
were annihilated, the universe would turn into
a mighty stranger."
Emily Bronte

Goodbye, my love, until my chores are done and we  meet again.
You know I can never thank you enough for all you gave me.
But oh how I shall miss you.

  1. As a fellow randonneuse, I stumbled on your blog sometime in the last year. I just now saw your post about your husband's passing. I wish you much peace and healing, and that cycling will carry you through this difficult time.

    1. Thank you for your kind words. It was nice that you took the time to send them.

  2. I could tell from your writing what a special and deep bond you shared (and still share, just in a different way). I really admire that and your frank and self-questioning observations about riding and life in general.
